DermLink Scholars Officer Confidentiality & Appropriate Use Agreement
This Confidentiality & Appropriate Use Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between DermLink Scholars (DLS) and the undersigned Officer.
By signing below, the Officer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
1. Purpose of Access
The Officer may be granted access to member contact information and related personal details solely for the purpose of carrying out official DLS responsibilities.
2. Appropriate Use
The Officer agrees:
Not to use member contact or personal information for any purpose outside of official DLS tasks, projects, communications, or responsibilities.
Not to contact members unless such contact is necessary for fulfilling assigned DLS duties.
Not to use member information for personal, academic, research, organizational, or external purposes unrelated to DLS.
3. Confidentiality Requirements
The Officer agrees:
Not to share, distribute, or disclose any member’s contact information or personal details to any individual or organization outside of DLS leadership.
Not to store or transfer member information in unsecured formats or platforms.
To immediately report any accidental disclosure, data breach, or misuse of member information to DLS leadership.
4. Term of Responsibility
These obligations remain in effect:
For the entire duration of the Officer’s role within DLS, and
After the Officer’s term ends, with respect to any information obtained during service.
5. Revocation of Access
DLS reserves the right to modify, limit, or revoke the Officer’s access to member information at any time if there is reasonable concern for misuse or breach of this Agreement.
6. Acknowledgment
By signing, the Officer affirms that they understand these policies and agree to uphold them. Any violation may result in removal from leadership and potential further action as deemed necessary by DLS leadership.
