DermLink Scholars Foundation

All DermLink Scholars research, educational, mentorship, and networking initiatives are conducted under the DermLink Scholars Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.


DermLink Scholars Foundation is a registered nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The foundation serves as the central entity for all DermLink Scholars research, mentorship, and educational initiatives, uniting medical students, residents, and faculty nationwide in collaborative scholarly and service-driven efforts. Since its inception, the organization has operated entirely without profit and has never derived income from its services, maintaining a mission to provide free, meaningful, and equitable opportunities for students pursuing dermatology education and research.

DermLink Scholars Foundation has received recognition of exemption retroactive to its incorporation date, as the organization has operated continuously for exclusively charitable, educational, and scientific purposes since that time. For the past 27 months and onward, it has functioned as a volunteer-run network focused on academic mentorship, community service, and professional growth.

DermLink Scholars Foundation is dedicated to advancing dermatology education, mentorship, and research opportunities for medical students nationwide through equitable access, community engagement, and service-driven initiatives. Through its national collaborations, the foundation creates a culture of inclusion, scholarship, and academic excellence for all medical students, regardless of their institution or background, reflecting the belief that knowledge should be shared freely and opportunities should remain accessible to all.
