Poster Submission & Presentation Policy
Poster Approval Requirement
All poster topics with author lists must be submitted to the DermLink Scholars Poster Review Team for approval prior to submission. This step ensures that no duplicate or overlapping posters are submitted by different members to the same conference, or across multiple conferences.
Limits on Poster Presentations
To maintain originality and academic integrity, DermLink Scholars permits each topic/abstract to be presented at no more than two conferences total:
One national conference
One local conference
Editorial and Supervisory Review Prior to Printing
Before any poster goes to print:
It must undergo a round of edits and review to ensure accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to formatting standards.
The resident and/or attending supervisor affiliated with the project must review and approve the final version.
Documentation and Record-Keeping
Following successful presentation of a poster, the presenting student is responsible for completing the Poster Documentation Form available on the DermLink Scholars website. This form ensures:
Accurate record-keeping of poster topics.
Documentation of which students presented the work.
A clear history of when and where each poster has been presented.
Ongoing Communication
Members are strongly encouraged to reach out to the DermLink Scholars Officer Team with any questions related to poster approval, submission logistics, or documentation requirements.
