Glow Forward 2025 Impact

When we launched Glow Forward, we started with a simple belief: self-care is not a luxury, it’s a human right.

What began as an idea rooted in dignity, confidence, and access quickly became something much bigger than we imagined.

In just our first year, Glow Forward grew into a national, student-led movement focused on collecting and donating self-care, hygiene, and beauty essentials to individuals facing housing insecurity, financial hardship, and limited access to basic necessities. The response from students, communities, and partners across the country affirmed what we already knew: small acts of care can create powerful change.

By the Numbers

In our inaugural year, Glow Forward has:

  • Launched 80 student-led chapters across the country

  • Donated 5,103 hygiene and self-care items

  • Partnered with shelters, clinics, transitional housing programs, and community organizations serving women and individuals in need

Behind every number is a moment: someone receiving shampoo before an interview, skincare products that restore confidence, or a hygiene kit that brings comfort and dignity during a difficult season.

More Than Donations

Glow Forward was never just about products. It was about how people feel when they receive them. Our chapters worked tirelessly to organize donation drives, coordinate with local shelters, and build partnerships rooted in respect and empathy. Many chapters tailored their drives to meet the specific needs of their communities, from interview readiness kits to rotation-site collections run by students during clinical training.

These efforts were led by students balancing exams, rotations, and personal responsibilities, yet they showed up consistently, driven by the shared mission of making self-care accessible.

A Community Effort

This first year would not have been possible without:

  • Dedicated chapter leads who built Glow Forward from the ground up at their schools

  • Passionate volunteers who gave their time and creativity

  • Generous donors who trusted us with their contributions

  • Community partners who welcomed collaboration and helped ensure donations reached those who needed them most

Glow Forward exists because of collective belief and collective action.

Looking Ahead

As we reflect on our first year, we’re proud - but we’re just getting started.

In 2026, we’re committed to:

  • Launching more chapters

  • Expanding community partnerships

  • Increasing access to essential care

  • Continuing to center dignity, respect, and confidence in everything we do

More chapters. More access. More care.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Glow Forward’s first year possible. Your support has created real impact and we’re so excited for what’s ahead.
