Kelly Frasier, DO, MS, CRC
Founder & CEO
Dr. Kelly Frasier, DO, MS, CRC, a distinguished graduate of ATSU-AZ Medical School in 2023, is currently serving as a Dermatology Clinical Trials and Epidemiology Research Fellow in New York City with a focus on acne, hydradenitis suppurativa, and inflammatory skin disorders. Originally from Cary, North Carolina and Newport Beach, CA, she holds a Master of Science in Neurological Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina State University. Dr. Frasier is a member of Sigma Sigma Phi National Medical Honor Society and Gold Humanism Society. She completed 65+ publications and 50+ poster presentations at national and international medical conferences, along with many underrepresented medical students, over the course of her intern year of residency at Nuvance Health/Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Dr. Frasier's research interests are both diverse and impactful, focusing on dermatological disparities in healthcare, innovations in chronic wound healing, prosthesis-related contact dermatitis, and inflammatory skin conditions. She is the founder of a New York mobile outreach organization, 'Walk-Up Wound Care', that provides wound care kits to unsheltered individuals in both New York and Connecticut communities. Her work aims to bridge gaps in healthcare equity, advance treatment methodologies, create research opportunities for medical students without home dermatology programs, and improve patient outcomes in dermatology.
Haily Fritts, OMS II
Chief Operating Officer
Haily is the Chief Operating Officer at DermLink Scholars, where she leads operations and marketing. Driven by a deep passion for dermatology, Haily ensures the organization supports medical students in accessing critical research and professional opportunities. Her dedication is rooted in a commitment to innovation, efficiency, and connecting students with the resources they need to become competitive dermatology applicants.
Haily’s research career began at Arizona State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. During her undergraduate years, she worked as a research assistant before transitioning to a role as a medical assistant and research coordinator in rural PNW. This diverse background in healthcare and research has equipped her with the skills and expertise to excel in dermatology research with DermLink Scholars, and help others do the same.
Beyond her operational role, Haily is deeply committed to fostering growth within the dermatology community. At her medical school, she serves as a Co-Chair in her school’s Dermatology Interest Group, where she organizes events that connect fellow students with experts, research opportunities, and educational resources. Haily’s enthusiasm for dermatology extends beyond her professional responsibilities—she is personally invested in creating pathways for students to explore and excel in the field.
Grace Herrick, OMS II
Chief Development Officer
Grace is the Chief Development Officer at DermLink Scholars, where she drives strategic growth initiatives and business development. With a deep passion for dermatology education, Grace plays a key role in expanding opportunities for medical students who lack access to comprehensive dermatology programs. Starting DermLink Scholars has been an exciting and rewarding endeavor for Grace, reflecting her deep commitment to education. As the founder of a nonprofit focused on preschool education, Grace has long been dedicated to supporting students at all stages of their academic journey. Her leadership at DermLink Scholars builds on this mission, providing essential resources to underserved populations in dermatology.
Beyond DermLink Scholars, Grace has a background in global health and dermatology research, having received her BA from the University of Connecticut in Global Health through the Honors Program, graduating cum laude. Originally from Sandy Hook, Connecticut, she has contributed to multiple academic publications and presented at national conferences. Her dedication to education, innovation, and healthcare advancement drives her vision for the future of dermatology education.
Julia Vinagolu-Baur, MS1
Director of Communications
Julia is the Director of Communications at DermLink Scholars where she oversees progress on papers, conveys project updates to DLS leadership, and responds to inquiries that DLS members have.
Julia's interest in research stemmed in high school when she enrolled in a 3 year research track to explore the intersection of basic, translational and clinical sciences, which first exposed her to scientific inquiry. Her passion for research extended throughout college, graduate school and her medical journey where she became involved in health policy, health systems management and data-driven research. In college, she earned a BS in Business and Management and MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, in addition to an MS in Medical Technology at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Julia has co-authored over 50 papers with Dr. Frasier and the team before starting her MD at the Norton College of Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Before medical school, Julia was involved in a number of endeavors to merge her passion with medicine with her background in research and health management. She most recently worked as a Health Program Coordinator at the New York State Department of Health, Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities Prevention in Albany, NY. She also has work experience in federally qualified health centers across her hometown, New York City, as a former Community Health Care Association of New York State AmeriCorps member and gained invaluable health project management experience at the New York City Mayor’s Office of Operations.
